Jan. 25, 2018 – Jasper Display Corp. (JDC) is ready to show off their live digital electro-optical technology demos and speak at SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco from Jan. 30th – Feb. 1st. JDC’s engineers are available all day to talk to visitors about how their technology can be used for commercial and academic applications. They can be found at Booth 4253 at the Taiwan Pavillion in the North Hall.

Mike Stover, VP Engineering and Marketing, will be giving a talk entitled “The EDK – An Educational Digital-Electro-Optics Kit for Training Photonics Engineers” which will show how the SLM-based EDK will enable training and exploration of photonic technologies using a Field Programmable Lens Array (FPLA) and Open Source Software (OSS). The talk can be heard in Demo Area 2 of Hall D North at 1 PM on Thursday, Feb. 1st.

A wide-variety of demos and hardware for phase and display applications, including 4K projection, holograms, and more will be shown by JDC engineers – showgoers will have the opportunity to hear exclusive, interactive talks. The JDC booth will offer a first-hand look at our advanced 4K LCoS Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) which features the world’s smallest pixel. Educators are invited to see the demo for our groundbreaking SLM-based EDucational Kit (EDK) that transforms the optics lab into a compact, quick, and easy-to-use configurable package. For those interested in microLEDs, our demo will prove that this next-gen emissive technology is for real – the brightness and contrast have to be seen in person to be appreciated.

The JDC booth will be a must-see for the scientists, engineers, and executives who are excited about the cutting edge of digital electro-optical technology. More details to follow as the show approaches. Please contact Marc Murphy for any immediate questions or requests.
