Jasper Display Corporation (JDC) has the mission to be the leading enabler of industrial and consumer products based on Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) technology. By designing and developing innovative SLMs JDC allows its partners to achieve their own product goals and dreams.

JDC is dedicated to the design, development, and fielding of innovative Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) spatial light modulators (SLM) that bridge the interface between the world of electronics and the world of light. JDC has set as its goal the development and enablement of world leading “On Silicon” designs and products beyond the initial LCOS products. To achieve this, and to further excellence in design and manufacturing, JDC has organized a highly experienced team of silicon design and microdisplay experts supported by an excellent management team and visionary leadership. Kaushik Sheth serves as Chief Executive Officer.

Expert Team

JDC operations were started in 2010 to develop Liquid Crystal On Silicon (LCoS) wafer, microdisplays, driver IC, and system development kits for developers, technology partners and solution partners. The acquisition of eLCOS Microdisplay Technology Inc. brought their core team members into JDC. Ed Hudson, from eLCOS, now serves as Jasper’s Chief Technical Officer. JDC has recruited additional staff that enriches and broadens the capability of the technical team.

JDC’s experienced team greatly reduces the time for developing next generation LCOS products. Our headquarters is situated in Santa Clara, California with design, research and development executed together by Santa Clara and Hsinchu offices.

 X-on-Silicon platform (X-on-CMOS)

JDC is providing X-on-Silicon platform and technology in the world. It has been applied on Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) 、Micro-LED on Silicon (uLEDoS) 、Cell-on-Silicon(CelloS)…etc. It lets JDC’s customers to apply on Display and Non-Display applications :

  • Display applications : Micro-LED、UST(Ultra Short Throw) projector、3D AOI、3D Metrology、Maskless Lithography、 AR/MR/VR..etc.
  • Non-Display applications : Telecom、AR/MR/VR 、Bio-Medical、HUD、Car Intelligence Headlamp、Optical Tweezer、Microscope、Cell-on-Silicon 、Maskless Lithography…etc.
